rediscovering fapri

ok, for those of you who are unacquainted with fapri, he would be my "artistic" side. well, try hard "artistic" side anyway. hey, i've got lots of sides, not just left and right, though most are not worth knowing or are probably already "dead" or something.

i checked up on deviantart today... and i was wowed. i haven't dropped by the site for quite a while and the new interface is really slick. even before i was already amazed with their extensive use of javascript for formatting their layout, this time they took it a step further by merging some functionalities into a single page. kudos to the peeps there at DA.

because of that, i finally got around to updating it! hooray! but wait, no new deviations yet! awww... i'll probably stick to uploading literature first cause i dont have a decent camera around here for my photography and my photoshop skill still sucks. sigh, wish me luck i guess. but things look good, i my enthusiasm got me through to making a deviantid/an emblem of some kind.

in case you're wondering where fapri came from, it started back in my second year in college i think. me and some of my friends came up with this idea to make a common blog sort of thing where we can post our writings under our pen names. at that time, i was really into fraps(those overpriced high-calorie drinks you can get from a college dude who pigmatizes english perfectly with their rolling r's and 'sh'-s in every other syllable accent), and a really, really, really big guy. some would say i look like hagrid even, in tagalog? a capri. haha. so i came up with fapri! frap+capri=fapri! there you have it, the etymology of fapri! yey! on a side note, fapri officialy means Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute. hrmmm...
