don't you just hate it...

when you know you're doing something wrong but you keep doing it anyway cause you just don't have the willingness to take a risk and the associated sacrifice to turn away from it...

anyway, last night, holy thursday, we brought over to here a very filipino tradition... bisita iglesia, or quite literally, church visitations.

i don't know how exactly this came about, my only guess is its some sort of a small pilgrimage... or maybe just to support the kropek vendors outside churches back home.

anyway, its not an event here, only a handful of people are in the churches for the exposition, and out of that, i'm guessing only a handful of them were practicing what we ourselves were doing.

here's the map, and the list of churches is:
-> St. Joan of Arc, our parish
-> St. Joseph
-> Most Holy Trinity
-> St. Francis of Assisi, though it was closed
-> Our Lady of Perpetual Help, clased as well
-> St. Maria Goretti
-> Blessed Sacrament

let me also take a moment to endorse maps by yahoo. though yes, google maps is the de facto pioneer with a lot of user-contributed input through google earth and 3d-buildings(through google sketchup in google earth), and yes, msn live maps has that cool brid's eye view, none of them have the one feature in yahoo maps that i find dead useful(maybe they have them as well... buried in a deep navigation tree). that is, stackable destinations, useful for plotting out multiple destinations in one trip, from point a to point b, to point c... to poink.

here's a link to the map i used, don't know if the link will work for you or for how long it will work(i have yet to get down and dirty with yahoo maps' api).

imho, this is a specially useful feature for those who do a lot of adventure traveling. the only thing missing here now is the ability to opt for a public commute route(like bus routes and trains, and a bit of walking of course).

well, that's it for now. i do have a lot of things to write about, but i'm holding it off until i decide where i'm going to take this site.

cool!a map that not only brings you from point A to point B, but also to point C, point D... =)
but it would be much cooler if it had something like.. "select a route for optimal MPG".. pero eto talaga malupet.. pag meron syang route to solve the Konigsberg Bridge Problem.. haha! =P

msn maps has the make route according to shortest time or shortest distance... no optimal mpg though. haha. by the way, the servant's name was malchus... ;-)
